How online buying works in Texas
Buying a gun online is legal in Texas. The gun can’t ship to your house. Order it from our online store and pick it up here after the Form 4473 and background check. Handguns and suppressors can be picked up here only by Texas residents. Visiting from another state? A rifle or shotgun may be possible over the counter if your home state allows it, so call us first. Shipping to your dealer is coming soon.
Pick up at Circle Star
- Order from our online store and choose pickup in Anderson.
- Most orders are ready in 3 to 5 business days, and we call you when yours is.
- Bring your photo ID, fill out the Form 4473, and we run your background check.
- Take it home once it clears.
Picking up your order in person is free.

Paying and sales tax
Online orders are paid at the counter when you pick them up, and we take all major payment methods. Card payment online is coming soon. Ask us about financing through Tower Loan, and about our military and first-responder discounts.
Texas sales tax is 6.75%, and we charge it on pickup orders.
Ammo
Ammo orders are picked up here too. You need to be 18 for rifle and shotgun ammo and 21 for handgun ammo.

Questions
Can I buy a gun online and have it delivered to my house?
No. Federal law sends it to a licensed dealer. You pick it up there after the background check.
Can I see it before I buy?
Give us a call. If we have it on the shelf, come take a look.
Can I order a suppressor or an SBR/SBS online?
Yes. It goes home on a Form 4473 once your background check clears, with no Form 4 required since October 9, 2026, and the pickup and dealer rules are the same as for a handgun. Questions first? Give us a call before you order.
